The PVC on the TFSI engine can cause many issues and over time inside the diaphragm can rip. This leads to a decrease of boost and power when driving, The engine light will appear frequently, oil can leak from the oil cap, poor MPG. Also, it can cause a smoking exhaust when stationary due to blow-by in the inlet manifold at idle. Also loss of boost when driving.
We have designed these PCV delete plates to separate the inlet manifold from the cam cover. It recirculates the crankcase gases into the intake manifold and diverts all the breathing to the cam cover, which is located at the back of the engine, this links both internal ports together – which removes all problems that are caused by the PCV valve.
Also blanked off is the port at the end of the inlet manifold that also went to the PCV valve. Replaced with our 3 way valve in the kit so you can run boost gauges.
